I’m 15 years old, and this is my story on how Jewish Family and Child Service (JF&CS) helped me and my family.

Eventually, we moved in with Bubbie, my mom’s mom, in her rented townhouse north of the city.

JF&CS connected Mom with a social worker. She called for support coping with losing Bubbie, but she found so much more.

The fear that we might lose everything isn’t as loud anymore. Mom says that thanks to JF&CS, we found a community that continues to support our family every step of the way.
